We have a car we need to sell to raise the BR fees. When we purchased the car took finance but in the form of a personal loan. The dealer has registered the car on HPI as having finance but with a disclaimer saying they have no interest in the car. Has anyone else come across this and still sold the car, or can the HPI finance tag be removed.

hi and welcom to the forum
unless it is HP then there should be no problem selling the car as it is not secured on the car and it is yours to sell
sometimes they can put it on HPI but it is irrelevant as it is not HP

Don't worry or know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubble gum.(Baz Lurhman)
RevivaUK and Paul Johns helped me through it all i can't recommend them enough!!

Hi Steve

The only additional comment I would make is to make sure you can justify the price you get - i.e by getting a valuation first - such as Parkers
