Hi. I think i was happy to early with barclays cash card account.

Just find out that im banned for online banking for 6 years ( was informed by manager from manchester) !

As without online banking that account is usless. I opened in Co-operative and I get online banking , debit card !

bye bye barclays !

I'm surprised to hear that. I have a full account with them and even though Barclaycard were one of my creditors I can still use it complete with online banking.

The Co-op are good but do be aware that online banking does not update straight away so you need to keep an eye on your spending.

I'd keep Barclays on, perhaps with a small amount of money as it will help with your credit rating.

The friend in my adversity I shall always cherish most. I can better trust those who helped to relieve the gloom of my dark hours than those who are so ready to enjoy with me the sunshine of my prosperity. – Ulysses S. Grant

That's the spirit! If Barclays does not want your business, go elsewhere. As Niobe rightly points out, Co-op is as good as any bank.
Good luck.

I switched to Co-op 6 years ago in the lead up to bankruptcy as i had an overdraft with barclays. Couldn't fault co-op never had a problem with my cashminder account, all my direct debits for bills are fine and never had my debit card refused anywhere, even abroad. Life without an overdraft is heaven!
