Hi,

I've found out why Equifax have no record of my BR that's because they don't have the address on there that was shown on the BR. i thought BR stuck with a person and not an address?

I have informed them but it's still not on some 6 months later. My parents who live there have had perfect ratings for the past 30 years and so I hope it does not go against them.

Cheers

It won't affect your parents at all as a BR is not registered against the address but against the person.

okay so if it's registered against me then why is it that I can leave 1 address off my credit file and it not affect it?

that's what's confusing me.

I have no idea on that one unfortunately. Hopefully Viki will be along later and advise.

Thanks. My score is still very low even with it not on so I am sure it's still having an effect and rightly so.
