Hi guys,
My credit file shows two Barclaycard debts that were included in my Bankruptcy back on 10/03/2010 but whilst it shows they are satisfied, the dates are 08/09/2010, which is incorrect and in actual fact should have disappeared from my file altogether based on the fact that six years have now passed. They are from TDX Group which stands for The Debt Exchange but what is really interesting is that they are now owned as of 2014 by non other than Equifax.
It's my Equifax file that is incorrect ironically and whilst I obviously should have kept check on my credit files long before now, I'm assuming I have to write to the Credit Controller or someone similar at TDX as opposed to Equifax themselves.
I have the same problem with Secure Trust Bank which has a satisfied date of 28/02/2011
How quickly are credit files updated once an amendment has been made?
Thanks in advance.
Steve

You need to contact the company and tell them to remove any incorrect details. If you printed off a copy of your discharge notice then send a copy of that.

The friend in my adversity I shall always cherish most. I can better trust those who helped to relieve the gloom of my dark hours than those who are so ready to enjoy with me the sunshine of my prosperity. – Ulysses S. Grant
