The funny thing with ours Paul is that we did just that and found them in our local freebie paper. Then whe we actually went BR and asked where it gets advertised, we were told the big regional one. It turns out only the business BR's go in the local free one. Very odd!

I was just thinking that. I am pretty sure that I haven't seen them in the local paper, but I know they are in the regional paper, so that may not be as depressing as I first thought. Even better if the OR doesn't advertise it. Worrying though.

There is such a thing as a 'Stay of advertisement' which you can apply for if there is a real and specific reason why it would be a problem if the advert were placed. It's only granted in serious cases, where someone's safety could be at risk, for example. We have reason to apply for this, but luckily didn't need to once we found out it wouldn't be advertised in our local paper after all.

Will the OR tell me if it is going to be in the paper when we have our interview with them?

Yeah, although it may be in before then, so the court could tell you if you rang them I guess. I think I'm right in saying it is advertised in most cases. Is that right Paul (or anyone else)?
