debt
Posted - 01 March 2008 : 15:24:37 I have taken and considered professional advice on an IVA and this is not possible. I have £39k debts. I am employed as a professional services adviser (in-house lawyers). I have clients who are my bread and butter. If I was to declare myself bankrupt, would there be any way that I could stop the OR or Trustee from advertising my bankruptcy order as it would seriously affect my ability to earn a living!

This is usually because of the danger associated with advertising a persons name & address. For example I am aware of a bankrupt wh testified at a terorist trial. For safety reasons the details were not made public
You are probably aware that it is advertised in 4 places. Stubbs Gazette, London Gazette, Insolvency.gov web page and your local paper.
Obviously your IVA is already rgistered on the above but has not been published in the local paper.
