would you advise if going bankrupt to get advice of cab or a solicitor? also declaring bankrupt from start to finish how long does it take?

Might not be the best person to answer this but i am sure one of the exerts will be along shortly.

CAB will only help people who fall into a certain criteria, usually those on low income, as you said in a previous post you may fall into that band. However all they will do is fill in the forms for you.

If you go to a solicitor you will probably get full support and may even attend court but it is going to cost you !!

I think some of the experts who post on this site assist with bankruptcy who may be able to help, might be worth contacting one of them, you can find there details in the left hand panel under experts, about half way down the page.
