The banks have some financial fixed allowances which limit me in my spenditure after becoming bunkcrupt. Do you know how much I am allowed to spend on food for two, phone bills etc?? Thank you for your reply.

The banks can only make the allowances in an IVA and you will find with bankrupcty your allowances will be more realistic.
You should allow arount £350 for food for two at a push £300 as far as your bills are concerned work on your averages for the year, if you spend alot on certain things i.e. gas or electricity then supply bills as eveidence.
