Posted - 16 February 2007 : 11:55:13 My IP prematurely failed my IVA. after 2 years and £11,000.00 in payments - the fees were all absorbed by the IP via £8k in his fees and £3k in legal fees My creditors received nothing from 2 years of contributions. I have now settled all of my creditors to their satisfaction but have received a bankruptcy petition Complaints with regard to the IP to their regulator the IPA got no where. I would appreciate your advice on whether or not someone who contracts in an IVA can be made bankrupt if it fails although Solvency is proven
