Posted - 07 October 2008 : 13:13:39 Hi All
I went bankrupt about 4 months ago,i have sent all my stuff back agreeing to the income payments order, and a valuation of the house as my girlfriend has declared an interest. I have heard nothing back and its been at least 2 months now, they have not taken any payments from me. Is this normal and should I ring them or just leave it alone and wait for them to get back. I was orking on the basis that no news is good news.

If you are still paying tax you do not need to put away any money for the NT IPA. In addition you do not have to pay anything on a normal IPA until you sign the form, and the form will tell you when you start paying.
The Insolvency Service are very busy at present, so it may take a bit of time. Don't worry, they'll get round to it!

If that were me i would not worry. If you have signed the NT code IPA and its started yet no one has taken it yet put the money somewhere safe. Other than that relax they may just be busy. :-)
