Posted - 29 April 2008 : 11:52:47 Hi there
I have problem with 1 creditor who says I owe around 6k for a car I never owned and I have contacted them many times to inform them of this but won't do anything about it, all I get is that its my debt in my name and I have to pay it. This is going back to around 1999 and I will be putting the details nto my BR form.
Am I right to do this and what will the OR say when I explain this???
This forms a big chunk of my debt and another again is for a car and was told at one point it was £3500 and its now gone back upto over £4500. This is with Welcome finance ad they reposesed the car sold it via auction and told me they got the full debt at auction and I owed nothing then got a letter saying the full balance is outstanding and they won't back down?
Just thought I would ask for your views before I fill in the relevant sections of the form.

Enter both of these onto you statement of affairs and explain both of these reasons for the debts, it will then be up to the OR to investigate further.
This will then stop both the creditors chasing you.
