Posted - 02 June 2008 : 21:04:12 Tonight I get a call from Citi Financial to advise me of the arrears on my account..my response "I was on a DMP with CCCs which your company didnt accept there offer, today I was declared Bankrupt"there response was" what was the reason " me:"dropin overtime payments since taking out the loan with you in '06" them :"Our company dont take overtime paymnts into account when assessing for a loan" me:"someone should tell your Southampton Office that then..they did!!" them "But Sir you are in arrears with your account..how do you intend to pay it" Me:"Sorry its out off my hands talk to the Offical Reciever about it!" them:" Sir, Until we recieve proof you are BR we will still contact you" me:"Email me your Fax number and I'll fax a copy of my BR cerficate across to you in the morning"them :"sorry cant Email-do you have a pen handy " me: "NO"! Just a transcript for all to read;be strong as for a little while they will try to get you to pay whatever they can.even when you have ben to court..bear in mind THE GUY CALLING YOU IS ON COMMISSION FOR EVERY POUND HE SCREWS OUT OF PEOPLE! Dont mean to be smug but...

As you have already notified them of your BR, continued phone calls are deemed harrassment under Section 40 if the Administration of Justice Act 1970. Remind them of that the next time they call!
