hi - reluctently i'm gonna soon go bankrupt with £45000 owing. please tell me how this will affect my croatian wife's family home (which she shares with her sister) in croatia. they are the owners since their mother died and i have never been included in any deeds etc. although i have stayed there a couple of times in the past 20 years when visiting fanily i have had no interest in the property whatsoever.

it's not worth much (maybe £10000) but my wife and her sister grew up in that house full of memories and deserve to keep it that way.

your best advice please.

Hi Tom and welcome to the forum.

The great news is that as you have no interest in the property (not on the deeds or mortgage etc), the OR can't touch it!
