My debta are with an ex partner whom I dont know where he is . If I go bankrupt will this affect my new partner with whom I have no debts? thankyou

Hi art

Even if you live together your BR is just that....yours.... so it does not involve your partner.
However as you share an address it may have some affect on him for future credit but he can contact each credit reference agency and request "financial disassociation" from you to try to protect that future credit. My husband has just done this to disassociate himself from me...so to speak!
Hang on for a BR expert to respond - they will be able to advise you further.
