Posted - 03 June 2008 : 20:32:12 Wondered if anyone could help with the following 2 issues; 1. is there a maximum amount you are allowed to pay towards mortgage? My mortgage is £1200 per month desperate to keep my home. Someone told me there is a max approx £900.00 per month? what happens then. I will have at least £400.00 towards my creditors 2. what happens with overtime? and I am due some back money approx £3000.00?
any info appreciated

The someone was wrong.
There is no upper limit it is based on affordability and is relevant to your individual circumstances. £1200 for your mortgage is fine.
The OR will likely ask you for your last three months pay slips from these they will calculate your average earning to include overtime from which to base their calculations for income.
The £3000 should be added on your SOA as money owed to you and in practice should be made available to the OR.
