Posted - 06 June 2008 : 08:38:32 The OR has written to me and asked for bank statements etc What should you do if you don't have these? My wife shreds everything so all I have to send are my payslips - should I put a note to explain this in the envelope or just send it and explain in my telephoen interview next week?

It is very common for people to do exactly what you have done. The OR will be fine with this and as Vicki says, they can get copies directly from the lender anyway.
Posted - 06 June 2008 : 09:25:43 Thanks, I have written a letter to explain this.

Posted - 06 June 2008 : 08:48:05 Hi Mattdjuk I would pop a note in with what you are sending. I had very little to send over either! I have used my husbands bank account for the last two years so didn't have a single bank statement and they haven't asked to look at his statements. The OR can get the details they need directly from the bank if necessary. Hope this helps
