Posted - 07 June 2008 : 12:03:11 Hi. Will the employers need to be told if the employee has been declared bankrupt? What about the income tax - does this change and can they find out this way?

During the financial year you are an undischarged bankrupt, you will pay no tax. Your employer will be written to (as well as the tax office) to put you on a NT (no tax) tax code.
