Posted - 10 June 2008 : 10:36:50 Hi. I will have my OR interview today. they will of course ask me about my debt.my main creditor has been unhelpful as to sort out with me the debt for the last 2 yrs.they put pressure on me through my current employers, professional bodies and get bank information without my consent. There is alot I would like to mention if asked in the inteview with regard to how I got in this mess, will the content of my interview be disclosed to my creditor? will my creditors has any thing to do to harm me now that Iam bankrupt? what i mean is reverse the decision, go to court again or what so ever.Or am I becoming paranoid?

Posted - 10 June 2008 : 13:00:44 Hi Abd,
Best of luck. Just remember to be open and honest with the OR and I'm sure you'll be fine. If anything, you'll finish the interview wondering what all the fuss was about!

Posted - 10 June 2008 : 12:17:12 Thanks vicki, been great help as usual. well if the worst that can happen is BRU/BRO, not fine but what will happen should happen. My worst nightmare and thought could have been the possibility of going through similar hassles and negotiations for years to come again. Well Vicki I have got 2 hours to go till my interview, will report later. Abd |

Posted - 10 June 2008 : 10:47:50 Hi Abd, My examiner said that after my interview she writes up a report that goes out to creditors and to the OR himself. From other posts I understand creditors can report back to the OR - I need a BR expert to confirm this though abd. I was very open about my main problem - my IVA - which was doomed to fail from the start, my IP rejected two lump sum pay-outs etc etc so I assume all my creditors now know this.
The worse thing that can happen, if the OR takes notice of anything a creditor reports back, is a BRU/BRO - where the restrictions of BR are held for longer. Normally they apply until you are discharged. But from what you have written I don't think you have done anything others haven't done in the past when hassled by creditors - especially when you have one that wants all your spare money and leaves nothing for the others! Let one of the BR assist experts advise you on what to say or not to say. Hope this helps a little in the meantime abd.
