Posted - 12 June 2008 : 21:46:05 Hello,
I was declared BK this morning which was a strange experiance in Bristol. Didnt even meet the judge. Had my paper work checked then came back an hour later and it was stamped!
My question is on my outgoings I stated that my rent was 350 and c tax 50 per month. Because I have been struggling financially my land lord who lives at the same property and is a good friend has excepted less from me to help me out. I'm worried that if the OR checks my statements he wont believe me. Could I get my landlord to write him a letter if it is questioned? My Statements will show 195 and no council tax payments |

The OR will write to your landlord anyway, so ther ewill be plenty of opportunity to argue your case. However, I don't believe you'll have any problems as (in theory) you could be paying your rent or council tax in cash which wouldn't show up on your statements anyway.
