Hi roy and welcome to the forum

Depending upon your circumstnaces, it is usual for you to be allowed to remain in the matrimonial home for the first 12 months, after which the interests of your creditors become paramount over all other issues and the Trustee will then be able to take steps to take out possession proceedings. Of course this could be avoided if you agreed to put the property on the market voluntarily. Do you have much equity in the property based upon a current valuation?

For an informal chat about any financial difficulties, or advice as to the options available, I can be contacted via my website - www.melaniegiles.com
