Posted - 16 June 2008 : 16:43:59 when filling in the soa it asks for your tax number and office how can i find these out ihave not worked for 8 years due to disabillity and have not paid tax (as far as i know) so i have no idea what to put |

The OR will be able to find this out directly from HMRC. You are only obliged to retain tax records for six years, so it perfectly feasible that you would not have this information to hand.

Do you still have an old copy of your annual P60? If not, just put "unknown" with an explanation as above and you should be fine.
