Hi

I have just recieved a letter from the IS regarding the trustee application for release as my trustee. What does this mean?

The letter also states there is insufficient realised and unrealised assets to enable a dividend payable to the creditors. I was discharged from bankruptcy in Sept 07 (early discharge) as yet I have no notice of any IPA, whaen is this likely to happen considering I declared myself BR in Sept 06?

Hi Julian

i did not recieve an official letter stating I had been discharged i rang the office and one of the people there told me I had been.

I was under the impression that an IPA could be administered at any time! So from what you are saying this had to be done before discharge if that is the case I am very relieved.

Hi Roberttocs,

if you've been discharged withour gettingan IPA/IPO, then you won't get one!

If your assets are under £10k when you go BR, the OR also acts as Trustee. If assets are above £10k, then the OR will formally appoint a Trustee which would be a licensed insolvency practitioner. It sounds like the OR has decided not to proceed any further, which has got to be great news!
