Not exactly what Tanya and Hammy want to hear I'm sure, so apologies guys.

Does anyone know of anyone being refused? If so what were the reasons and how common is this?

Also, saw soemone on the Insolvency Register whose BR was in 1995!!! I thought you only stayed on it for a year!

Hi DM

If you decide to go BR make sure that you have your failure notice with you when you go into court because some courts will decline your petition without it!

I can see that you are getting stronger and more positive about your situation each day, DM. It is a real delight to see you coping with things - you'll be flying high again soon!!!

Phew! Hope so.
I just cant see how we survived before (well actually I do.....credit). Now we have finally sat down and worked out our expenditure, we are left with £22!!!!!!! How we expected to pay £1250 pm is beyond me? So glad we got it sorted now before the girls grow up. I want to lead by example and one thing is for sure, my children will be educated in money!!!!!

Yes - a bankruptcy order can be refused or adjourned for a variety of reasons, but this is actually quite rare and we are seeing judges spending less and less time in reviewing the paperwork. From my knowledge of your case, I will eat my insolvency licence if you do not get the bankruptcy order, as you really have no alternative.

Hi

Not an expert but i beleive the judge can refuse BR if he doesn't thinkit is in your favour or sometimes if you are already in an IVA and it hasn't failed yet but normaly it goes through. I thought you stay on whilst you are a discharged bankrupt.

Tess
