Posted - 11 August 2008 : 09:21:32 OH and I went BR last friday and we asked the OR if we could keep our co op cashminder account, the OR faxed them on the friday to tell them they had no interest in the account and told me to contact the co op this morning to find out if they will allow us to keep it. just rang them and was told it is all fine, WE CAN KEEP IT. so relieved, i was not looking forward to switching everything, we have had this account for 7 months and it is fab. |

Posted - 11 August 2008 : 12:11:22 Hi RC Thats great news. We opened one of these accounts last Monday after we had been to court and im waiting on my cash card now, hubby has his. I did originally open the Think Banking one but to be honest if Coop had not accepted I would have stayed and paid there charges as we need a bank account, but now I can save 17.50 per month as they charge 5 per month for OH card. They were also when I called to close the Think Banking account very lets say persuasive trying to get me to stay, telling me that from next year all banks will charge for CP withdrawels, using DD's and SO's and I would be better of knowing that one charge is all I would pay with them, I informed them that if that happens I would contact them but I still want to close it as im in the 14 day cooling off period. Anyhow at least you still have your account that you know and that now your just waiting on the OR interview, mines tomorrow. Take care Jo
