You can open a brand new bank account the day after your BR with the likes of Co-Op and Nationwide.
The OR will take 3 months salary (+ bonus, commission and overtime) as an average. You have a duty to inform the OR of any bonus payments received which they'll take into consideration for an IPA/IPO.
Regarding the house, it depends on how much equity (if any there is).

Posted - 07 July 2008 : 12:00:33 We are concerned how we will manage financially as our bank account etc will be frozen. can anyone let us know what happens with our bills and day to day living costs such as food and looking after 3 kids! What happens regarding payments made on top of our usual monthly income. my husband recieves a quaterly bonus and I sometimes work overtime. We have been told that if we can get someone to buy the beneificial interest in our house we would be able to keep it. We are currently in an IVA and I am not sure if this will affect this or not. When eould we have to do this if we are able.

You would need to check your particular contract of employment re insolvency but there is no reason why your employment is prohibited within Br
Indeed I have several clients who are employed by various NHS trusts ( doctors, consultants & nurses) and their positions are fine.
