I went bankrupt on 23rd june, i just want to know if my parents applied for any kind of credit would they be affected by my bankruptcy????
Its just they want to change phone lines from virgin to BT, however BT have to do a credit check so am just wondering if it would be a problem.
any help would be great

It's the sort of thing that you won't find out about unless you try to be honest, so well worth getting them to try to see. If it does cause them difficulties, then a notice of disassociation can then be filed.

hi priti, do you live with your parents?
I understand that they can 'dissasociate' themselves from you, so that your bankruptcy does not affect them. One of the experts will be able to confirm this though. Good luck
