i am currently on a low wage (even lower now that i am on maternity leave) would i be entitled to the court fee discount? i receive no benefits until my baby is born which is still 2 weeks away (possibly longer if hes late!)

It varies on whether you have children or not and your total income.

Check this link to the ex160a form which gives details.

Indeed, you only qualify for the £150 discount if you are on a particular benefits such as income support.

I do not think that the Court Fee discount applies to people on SMP - but a quick call to the Court would confirm this. You would definately get the discount if you are on Income Support.
