Hi Greatbrits and welcome to the forum.

Suzanne used to be an OR examiner, so you've had the "inside scoop".

Hi greatbrits

You will be interviewed in a private room on a one to one basis with your examiner. They will go through your statement of affairs and get clarification of any points they need more info on. They then generally write a narrative statement that just tells the story of how you came to be insolvent and what you feel is the reason for your insolvency. You have to sign various forms in addition to the statement, but these will be explained to you by the examiner.

This usually takes between 1 1/2 and 2 1/2 hours depending on how complicated the issues are.
