I have a headache from bashing my head on the desk as to exactly what and how much to write here. Do they need a couple of sentences or do I go the whole hog with a page essay? I would have thought this would be discussed at the OR meeting.

Hi all,

A favoured approach is to list events in chronological order with bullet-points. It keeps things clear and concise, and the OR likes that!

A few sentences is fine if it fully explains the reason which have led to the bankruptcy. ORs do not need War and Peace, but the points you make do have to be relevant to the debts you have incurred.

I barely put a few lines, basically as little as i could, no1 mentioned it to me at court and my o/r never mentioned it when i had my telephone interview. I dont think its a vital thing that your o/r will worry about. You dont have to explain yourself, its supposed to be a non-judgemental process. Plus its your right to go bankrupt, constitutionally. well if we had a constitution. You know what i mean.

lol, your not an idiot, not at all, most of us on here have been through it and some are going through it, so get rid of that silly emotion because its no good for you, as long as you have learnt from the experience it doesnt matter!

Just focus on getting the BR form filled in and the rest will be plain sailing!

Thanks for that, Ive put a couple of incidents in and am just trying to find the right words for being an idiot and over extending myself.

Hi Sueann

Just tell the story of how it was! Why don’t you just bullet point each significant thing that happened to you that led up to this point. When you have done that look at it again and then write the story with those points in it, you will be surprised on how quickly the words will come out when you do it that way.
I tell all of my clients to do this and they find it a lot easier.
