Posted - 13 July 2008 : 21:20:29 Hi again,
We're now at the stage of thinking about filling in the bankruptcy forms and want to make the necessary preparations, gathering bank/credit card statements together etc. Can someone tell us how far back into our accounts the OR will need to look?
Thanks,

Not usually, unless they have cause to fully investigate your case.

So 12 months statements should be ok? But do they check back further than that with the bank directly?

Posted - 13 July 2008 : 22:00:38 Thanks,
We definitely have statements for the last 12 months and could go back much further than that if necessary.
How far back do they actually look?
Thanks again,

this really depends upon how long ago you stopped using the credit facilities.
If you have them available the 6 - 12 months is usually great. You won't need the statements again and it shows full cooperation with the OR.
