Hello everyone,

I have my court date tomorrow and I still have a few pages on the form to fill out this evening (basically the reasons for Bankruptcy and my expenditure).

I just wondered if it helps to put in explanations maybe using the additional sheets at the end to assist the OR? I know that this sort of thing will be discussed during the interview with the OR.

For example, I spend around £25 a month on Dry Cleaning, simply because I work in a City Office and am required to wear suits. I am also 6'5'' tall and have to buy clothes from specialist websites catering for tall men. Therefore my clthing expenses I would say are around £50 a month. Is it worth explaining this on the SOA or waiting for ht interview and does anybody here think these allowances are unreasonable?

Hi mst

You have a good reason for the dry cleaning costs so they may allow you to keep all or some of it. Don't forget they won't take all your surplus so you will be able to fund some extras from there.

Is Dry Cleaning considered reasonable? You cannot wash the suits I have.

Good luck for tomorrow.

I would explain these things to the examiner when you have your interview. I was allowed a clothing allowance of £40 a month last year, so fingers crossed you will be ok.

Tomorrow is a mystery, yesterday is history, today is the present, a gift to make the most of.
