How does sales commision affect an IPA? Our income can fluctuate by up to £800 some months which if the OR took that at the high end, would cripple us some months (not exactly the idea behind going BR!)
Also, yearly bonuses - am I right in thinking it is my duty to contact the OR if I recieve one, and let them know how much?

The OR will take an average over several months, probably 6 or so to get a fair assessment of what your income is. On the months that it is higher, the onus would be on your to ensure you put away money for the lower months.
If you receive a bonus you have to let the OR know, but they may only take some of it from you. This is only for the period up to your discharge unless you are in an IPA, in which case it is for the period of the IPA.
