Posted - 25 July 2008 : 12:15:59 Bankruptcy (chap 13) discharged in March of 2003, off public records in March 2008. I have a credit plus rating of 739, yet was denied a preapproved loan from Bank of America because 'it had not been long enough, still considered a risk.' They found the bankruptcy and held it against me even though there are NO negative statements on my credit report. How do I get such information removed?
