Posted - 26 July 2008 : 07:50:16 Hi and welcome to the forum. I also get Carers Allowance for my eldest son and Im not 100% sure but I think they class it as earnings ie: taxable. The forum experts and other on here will know more and so that will also answer my question. I dont know which ones they take into account when looking at income esp when the OR decides what you should pay, my OH and I are going BK on the 4th of August so will know more after that. We also got Tax Credits, DLA and Child Benefit and again not sure if they work these amounts into the available income or not. The trouble with Tax Credits is they change each year and on circumstances and I also believe that CA's also can change depending on the same. As for the Bank Account I am not sure on that one but like I said the other experts and members on here will be able to get those answered for you, so hang on and you will get your correct advice later on. Try not too worry we are all in the same boat and its a great site to find out the answers to so many questions that are going through your head. Take care Jo
