1. I have received a ccj after we have been made bankrupt. What can I do to get this over turned?
2. After the 1 year BRO how can I make my credit rating better.
Obviously know that the BRO will effet but also really concerned about the CCJ.

Any help gratefully recevied,

Thanks for the advise, the CCj was after we were made bankrupt abolut 2 weeks after so possibly the OR had not informed the company. Is there anything we can do as I thought you could not get CCj after being made bankrupt. The company were part of the creditors we gave the OR.
Many thanks again.

Hi

If the CCJ is for a debt incurred before the bankruptcy, then you should be able to get it removed by sending a copy of your order to the credit reference people.

When you are discharged, get a certificate of discharge from the court, it costs around £60, and send this to them also and they should record you as discharged. After 6 years from the date of the bankruptcy order your file should be clean.
