Just a quickie,
If you are BR and having trouble renting a property, does anyone know if the local housing authority are inclined to help?
Not for me, but a query for someone else.

Hi there DM
I had a meeting with my local HO a week or so ago. They werent keen but said that if we were about to lose our home then they could help us to find private rented accomodation and that would be about there lot.
They also said that they may be able to help with deposit etc but again she was a bit cagey and not happy that we had so much debt in the first place.
Anyhow each HA is different, give them a call and pop and see them, whats the worst they can say "NO"
Anyhow take care
