We are going Bk at yeovil tomorrow and wondered do we need to take anything else with us.
We have the paperwork and fee. Do we need passports, birth certificates and also i beleive our OR is in Exeter so do we need to take any other paperwork with us so the court can fax over. :)
I have most of my statements, agreements etc.
Please advise

Hi Jo - Sorry didn't reply sooner, was out at in-laws for Sunday lunch. It sounds like you are in a very similar situation to us. I am sure the Judge will make the order and that you are insolvent. Also, the cost of living is only going to get worse, so any income you have left now will only get less! It just means that the OR may make an IPA.

I hope you can get some rest tonight. Please let us know how you get on tomorrow.

Hi jo
from what I know of your situation and from the many of your posts I have read, i'm certain you're insolvent and that you have nothing to fear.
Make sure you have listed all your expenditures and where the monthly amount is irregular err on the side of caution (aim high rather than low).
You've lost nothing if the examiner trims it back a little but equally you may catch him on a good day.
We're almost neighbours and Yeovil court is familiar to me, you'll be fine.

Hi Scared
The thing that worried me is we have about 81k debt dont know how it got so bad only realised when we did the forms online the complete total. We also have about 300 - 350 per month left from our income after essentials, so im hoping they say we are insolvent.
God now im really worried the technical terms used make me more nervous, the total payments to my creditors should be about £1600 per month and we have been on reduced payments for about 18 months now, do you think we are insolvent?
Please advise
thanks
Jo

Hi

Just wanted to reiterate what everyone else had said. I'm sure everything will be fine. Good Luck X

We were nervous too. It turned out unnecessarily so. It was over in an hour! Smart casual should be fine. We didn't even see the Judge. If you are insolvent, he will make the Order. If he does see you, he will probably just ask if you have taken advice and do you know what the implications are.

Please don't worry (although it is easy for me to say as we have already been through it). Just to let you know that you aren't alone.

xx

We didn't take any ID and weren't asked for any by the clerk. Try not to worry too much, it'll soon be over and behind you. xx

Hi
Thank you for responding and wishing us well. I will take my whole file with me just in case i need something from it.
I just wanna check do we have to take the ID with us as i would have thought they would need to know who we are.
Thanks again, the nerves are kicking in now, just getting stuff ready, hubby wearing his suit and me also.
God this is such a nerve racking time, i have waited for the date to come and now its nearly here.

Just want to wish you luck for tomorrow. It really isn't as bad as you imagine.
We took our petitions--3copies and fees, that was about it. If you have any cards, credit or debit or cheques take them along to hand in. Just remember, tomorrow is the start of your debt-free future, xx

Hi Jo - Good luck for tomorrow. I do not know about Exeter Court, but we just took three copies of our forms to our Court and didn't need any other documentation. However, someone who knows will hopefully get back to you soon.

Just wanted to say good luck though. It will be a weight off afterwards.
