Posted - 04 August 2008 : 13:44:03 I left some money in my account for a direct debit payment, but the account has been closed after my BR order. I do not owe the bank in question any money. What I would want to know is this: 1) Will the direct debit payment be still made? 2) Will the OR take the money ( I declared this payment in my I & E ) 3) Or can I go to the bank to get my money. Thank You.

Posted - 05 August 2008 : 12:42:28 Hi, I will suggest you that you have to go your bank will have to tell your issues because if you will listen someone and if they misguide you then your account may be in problem.
Posted - 04 August 2008 : 13:54:12 I know that you cannot use the account after BR. The OR does not close the account, the bank does so i doubt the DD will be paid, its probably best to contact the OR and see what to do (If the account has been frozen then the OR can inform the bank that they have no interest in the account)
