Posted - 26 August 2008 : 10:46:36 Well, as of Friday, theres no turning back for my wife and I.... we havent paid the mortgage/secured loan last month, and on Friday we move into rental accom - and will be contacting the mortgage company to hand back the keys.... absolutly terrified of all of this - however things were just so out of control financially we had no option - and we were going to be stuck in a tint flat for the next 20 years, not being able to start a family..... god, friday will be scary, great, horrible and a great relief at the same time! |

Posted - 26 August 2008 : 16:22:58 Hey not sure, John or Suzanne may be able to offer advice there if not one of the other members may have already done that bit so can help. I am still in my property at present so have not gone down the route of handing the keys back as we have equity and i know the OR wants their bit. We will be looking to see how we get on when our mortgage offer ends in May next year and if we can afford to still stay here, but if it way too high then we will be informing the OR of our problem and that we may have to look to rent and the hosue go on the market or it will get repossessed which we would rather sell and leave rather than get repossesed. Keep posting someone who knows will be along shortly. Ta JO
