Thanks for that. One more thing, we will be looking to rent a property when we hand our keys back, do we need to tell the letting agent we are BR and if we do will they let us rent?? Thanks again |

Hi Maz,
You could potentially have an issue here. Letting agents will perform a credit check, and it's not unusual that if your an undischarged BR for them to either ask for 6 months in advance or for a guarantor. As Jo says, best to find a private landlord.

Hi Maz
You may be better looking for a private landlord to rent from, they dont mind too much, well some that you are BR. As long as you pay the deps, and rent also you may have to find a Guarantaur.
The only other thing maybe that if you do go to a rentals place, they may or may not take you, but if they do some can ask for so i have been told up to 6 months rent in advance, thats why i said look for private.
Done know if i have helped. Have you been to your local housing authority to see if they can help at all, they may have a list of landlords.
