we have our telephone interveiw on 26th. Me first then the wife. we are unsure as to what paperwork we should get ready and completely forgot to ask the chap who called to give us the mini interview.
Any idea's?? I know it will be the loans, cards, bank accounts etc, but are they going to need info on benefits that we are claiming and are trying to claim, ie council tax, housing benefit etc. We are not getting any benefits at the moment but have just put a claim in as i'm not working.

I'm a Sole Trader so Will i have to do anymore then my wife who is PAYE as i worked for myself??. I've not kept great records over the years plus with us moving house 3 weeks ago nothing is to hand, but had my taxed paid to the tax man before i got the net from my boss everytime. ive filed my SA every year apart from 06/07 (yes i got the £100 fine for late submit which has been paid already) tax year which i was halfway done before all this happened.now im worried that i'll be able to understand my odd accounts but no one else will, i could give them the gross amount and the tax thats been paid on my behalf but not completed tax returns for this year(06/07)
Please any advise would be great, you'd be giving an old-ish lol man a good night sleep which we haven't had in so very long..LOL.
Ray.

We cant stop tomorrow coming so lets see what it brings.

hi
the onterview is to go through your affairs so that they understand where the debts arose and how they started.

There will be usual checking of info but they will be particularly interested in the following:-

assets - current or those disposed of recently
debts - when / where / what used for etc so good to get yourself a timeline as to how it all started X years ago and not any particular events that haven't helped.

they will ask you to complete your financial records for the business

have a copy of the statement of affairs to hand as this is a good reference and some blank paper, a pen and a glass of water
