Posted - 01 July 2009 : 00:49:17 I have reached the stage where I may have to declare bankruptcy, but had been planning on carrying out a course in insurance investigations & working as a contractor to the insurance industry. My major concern is that if I declare bankrupt, this may reduce or even totally ruin any chances of pursuing a career in this field. Please could you tell me if I would still be eligible to work in this area, as a declared bankrupt?

I can't see any obvious reasons why you should be prevented from working in this field. However, individual companies may have their own policies about this, so there are no guarantees.
