Just a quick question about general living during BR. After you have had an IPA agreed, where it is agreed you have an allowance of a certain amount for a holiday/contingency etc does the OR monitor this expenditure? I mean, if we didn't use this money for a holiday or a contingency but put it to one side for a holiday etc later would that be monitored or disapproved of? I've read of cases of people's discharge being suspended for 'not cooperating with the OR/trustee'. Would this be seen as that? I'm just worried about making matters worse for ourselves! Maybe I worry too much!

Posted - 01 August 2008 : 13:19:42 Hi the OR is only interested in receiving the agreed IPA amount, and being notified of any changes in income /expenditure. If, once the I&E have been agreed, you somehow manage to live more frugally (not taking a holiday for example) the money is yours.
