dazed and confused
Posted - 04 August 2008 : 21:33:25 Dear Forum
I am going to be petitioning for my own BR soon - probably within the next month or so.
Originally I was going to go for an IVA and so I have opened 2 new Basic Bank Accounts with RBS and Natwest (none of my debts are with these banks) in anticipation of the IVA. However, now that I have decided against an IVA, will I be able to keep these 2 new Accounts after the BR?
I have now transferred all my SO's and DD's to the new Accounts and all my pay is paid into these too, so it would be a right nuisance to have to change it all again!!!
Any advice / info. would be much appreciated!!!

Only the banks can make that decision unfortunately. A quick trip to the branch should put your mind at ease, and as none of your debts are with these banks you should be ok.
