Hi All

Myself and my wife are thinking of filing for joint ankruptcy. Can youplease advise whther we have to fill in two seperate forms or we canjust submit one form.Because I have seen the forms and itsays conntributuion from my partner, she does contribut towards the child nursury fees which i will declare but if she has to fill hers I dont transfer any money to her , does that mean she leaves that blank? I am nervous and confused as howto fill this in. Also for outgoings where in the form i can put the child nursery fees and other outgoings such as petrol, mobile phone etc. I just dont want to complete something wrongly which may work against us.

Any advise will be appreciated

Hi there,

Do you BOTH have debts in BOTH of your names? For eg. My husband and I are both going BR. We have 2 joint loans and 1 joint overdraft. Then we have credit cards and catalogues in either his name or mine.

We are filling out 2 seperate forms, that is we are filig for BR individually as it is not available jointly. On my forms I have listed all of out joint debts and my individual ones. He has done the same. We have not halved the but kept them in their entirity as this makes it easier for the OR.
As for outgoings we have listed everything twice (once on each form) this includes his travel and my petrol, that is because we are a family and our money is pooled.

Does that help a little?
