Posted - 08 August 2008 : 09:57:29 I have been in an IVA for a year but now going bankrupt on the 15th August.
Two months before my IVA I withdrew £500 from my capital one card to pay for rent and bills that I owed. I then went into an IVA.
When going bankrupt will they want to see the statements prior to my IVA (over a year ago) and will they give me a BRO for this?

Posted - 08 August 2008 : 10:23:03 Hi you'll be fine, you were unable to meet expenditures and thus used your credit card to pay essential bills, as almost everyone in debt does at some time or another. The amount is not high, it was more than a year ago (not last week), you then tried an IVA which unfortunately has not worked out. I'm sure this alone would not lead to the OR considering a BRU.
