When I went BR I declared a Nationwide Flexaccount that I hadn't used for a couple of years and had a balance of £1.23 credit. If I look at my internet banking the account is still there What will happen to it now?

Also, a couple of months ago I received a statement from Egg for a savings account that I opened years ago and didn't declare on my SOA as I'd completely forgotten about it. It has a balance of around £1.36. Would the OR know about this even though I didn't declare it as Egg were one of my biggest creditors? I'm obviously not planning on using it!

I'm hoping one of the experts will be able to help me as I really don't want to contact the OR. I'm now discharged and I don't want to remind them I'm here!

Tomorrow is a mystery, yesterday is history, today is the present, a gift to make the most of.

Thanks John. It's been niggling me for a while, but I didn't want to contact the OR! I'll definitely leave the Egg account well alone, but I might use the Nationwide one again - it's a full Flexaccount but I bet they won't let me have a debit card on it!

Hi
whilst all accounts should have been declared it's common for some to be forgotten.

I have no doubt the OR established the existence of these accounts when looking at your case.
Clearly the balance of the accounts did not tempt the OR, even Egg couldn't be bothered and you owed them!

Use them at you leisure but if it were me I'd forget the Egg one. They may not have been interested up to now but put a few quid in there and that could change.

They would not be entitled of course but it's a pain claiming it back.
