I go bankrupt on 11/09 and just a question re car.My car is worth around 2k and I am relocating to Scotland because of my job.I will not need the car for work but I will need it for travelling around at the weekends and also coming back down south to see my only family and also a sick friend who relies heavily on me to run him around everywhere (hospital appointments etc).I run him around weekly at the moment but this will have to move to monthly. Also I am going to need it to travel to scotland when I move in september. What do you think the likelihood of me keeping the car.
Many thanks |

Posted - 18 August 2008 : 11:46:48 Hi nicola If I were you I would say the car is required to get to and from work AND for all the other reasons you mentioned AND add that the rental is temporary and you plan to move further out.

Posted - 18 August 2008 : 11:27:50 I will be living around 20/25 mins walk away but I forgot to say in the previous post that my address in scotland will probably only be for six months to a year because the flat I am renting is quite small and I need to have more time to look around to find somewhere so after that I will most likely be further out.I am sure that you and (hopefully OR ) will appreciate that it is very hard to find somewhere in a week because you have no idea what areas are like whether good or bad as you would in london. Its Glasgow by the way.
Thanks |

I know you have said you won't need the car for this purpose but how far will you live from your place of work?
