I know you're allowed so much to live on, but i buy the nappies, al the groceries and clothing etc for our young son too. Am i allowed to put this down on the forms? Do they take into account the child benefit / child tax credits as my money or is that seen as my sons money?

Posted - 21 August 2008 : 17:57:48 All the money is certainly seen as yours but you will be given a decent amount to live on - your OR will certainly take everything into account - just be as accurate and honest as possible. They're not there to screw you over or leave you starving each month, you're not a criminal, don't expect to be treated like one :)
