I have heard that if you are made bankrupt then maybe they can take a chunk out of your wages every month is this true? If so, then what sort of calculation do they use?

Hi Lee,
NO they dont take a CHUNK out of your wages. Its done on disposable income, what you have left after paying all your essentials then its worked out from there.
Skippy i think it is has a rough calculator on there blog to show what you could end up paying.
EG: DI say 200 per month then the OR may advise an IPA of £100 per month.
If its less than 100 per month that you have after paying your essentials then the chances are you wont pay anything.
I hope this helps.
Jo
